Description
ALSO Space delivers image processing and data visualisation services for the Copernicus Image of the Day (IOTD), combining high-quality Earth Observation imagery with scientific storytelling and editorial content. Since April 2020, the initiative has supported the daily publication, promotion, and distribution of Copernicus imagery to increase public awareness and engagement with the EU Space Programme.
Results
- Production and publication of Copernicus Image of the Day content 365 days a year
- Delivered over 1,400 processed images as of February 2026
- Generating hundreds of thousands of impressions and engagements across social media platforms
- Driving nearly 50% of total traffic to Copernicus.eu
- Contributing to making Copernicus a widely recognised and trusted public brand
